I filed a complaint using the online form, its pretty easy. If you need the info the company name is Bridge Entertainment, 16133 Ventura Blvd Suite 625, Encino CA 91436 Tel 818-995-4960.

I encourage everyone to file a complaint and see where it gets us.

I received an acknowledgement from the BBB saying they had contacted the company. I'll post when I hear further.

An update to this situation:

On 9/26, I sent an e-mail to them, asking them why it had taken them five months to do nothing about my award. Four days later (September 30), I got back an e-mail from them with only the following statement on their behalf:

Your card was mailed out last week.
I did receive my card today - of course, the postmark date on the envelope was September 30.

If anyone reading here is from E-Poll, learn to lie better.

Ditto, no UA miles after putting in a request 3 months ago.

Latest response from E-Poll ( after 12 weeks waiting for the award)

Dear E-Poll Member,

Thank you for taking time to contact E-Poll.

We apologize for the delay that you have experienced in receiving your
award. We've had an increase in requests and have also been impacted by
some delays in receiving awards from our partners.

We expect to get caught up with our schedule of '8-10 weeks delivery' in the
near future. But I am not able to give you an estimate at this time.

We value our member's participation and loyalty and ask your understanding
and patience as we expedite your award as soon as possible.

Best regards,

E-Poll

Ordered UA miles in May! Just got the same e-mail statement you've all received saying they're working on getting miles from UA.

I'm doing the BBB thing. It's just not right to let them get away with it. Let's keep the pressure on.

TAVGlobal Oct 12, 2002 8:03 am

Just for grins here's today's e-mail. I'll post the response.

Dear Sirs:

Please be advised that I just completed a television survey on your behalf.

It will be the LAST survey I complete until you send me my UAL mileage certificate ordered months ago.

I know, I know...you're still trying to "get miles" from United. That's the generic line I, and all my friends, seem to be getting in your return e-mails.

Let me help! There are two ways to get miles. Fly one of their planes and, in your case, BUY them. So I recommend you buy the miles and send them to those of us you "hired" as "paid in miles" consultants.

If not I'm afraid the negative postings that are all over the web regarding your company will just keep getting worse resulting in......no more e-poll!!

I have them blocked as Worthless SPAM

Are they still wasting people's time with empty promisses ?

worldtrav Oct 17, 2002 8:21 am

I don't know who is worse, E-Poll or the Better Business Bureau. I filed a complaint with the BBB and simply because E-Poll responded in a timely manner to BBB they claim the company gave a satisfactory response. Arrrghhhhh. I'm still getting empty promises almost 4 months after I requested the measly 200 miles.

gleff Oct 17, 2002 10:28 am

It's been 5 months since I requested UA miles. Nothing. Every time I ask them, I'm told "soon."

I emailed them to today and asked them to redeposit the points and then to tell me specifically what coupons they HAVE IN STOCK so that I can choose from those.

We'll see if I even get an answer.

Their response to my recent email:
------------------------------------

"We apologize for the delay in supplying you with your request for your
United Airline Miles however; we have been unable to acquire the miles.
Please note that are site explains that in the event that we are unable to
fulfill a requested reward we hold the right to offer another reward in its
place. Therefore, we are at this time asking you to either request an
alternate reward or if you would like to wait, we will double your reward
miles.

Sincerely,
E-Poll"

My thoughts: Double my reward miles? For what?
Zero times zero is still zero.
