Shopping in Canada Through MyPoints - Help!

Greetings -

I'm looking at buying a new Dell laptop, and if I go through the mypoints portal, I can earn 2 mypoints for every dollar I spend. Not terribly great, but for a $2000CDN laptop, I'd rather get 4000 HHonors points if I can, instead of not getting them at all.

That said, click on the 'dell' icon on the shopping page takes you to the US Dell site.

Has anyone tried switching "US" to "CA" in the URL on MyPoints in order to purchase computers in Canada, while still getting MyPoints? Any advice? Thanks!

O

I contacted MyPoints regarding that same issue. Their "contract" is with dell.com only. You will not get points unless you purchase through that site. Of course, once you enter your city you are sent to dell.ca where the points will not be issued.

Now that I moved south of the border...
