1500 MYPOINTS for *FREE*

Go to MyPoints Shopping area. In the middle of the page (you may need to refresh) there is a "great offers" area. Find Drugstore.com. They are giving $10.00 off on an RX (non insured) and 1500 mypoints if this is your first non insured RX purchase. I was able to find (not easily) one of my prescriptions for $8.10, so with the discount it is FREE. I was shocked (I know I should not have been) at what some of mine cost otherwise. Thank Goodness for insurance!! You can order for someone else in your household, just make sure the account has your email address so you will get the Mypoints credit when the order is filled.

No shipping charges at all on this.
I pulled it off really for FREE!
Hope someone else can find a cheap drug, too.

What do you mean by non-insured prescription?

The fine print is mentioned on the web site.

Among the restrictions:
Not valid with Medicare or insurance copays.

Noninsured Rx would be one you don't want to run thru on your insurance plan. Like for cosmetic purposes.

THANKS again FSCHER! Another great find! Since I wanted some Retin A it's a perfect deal. The price on Drugstore.coms site is almost $20 less than Walgreens for generic.

Anyone predict a run on buys like this?

FSCHER, I presume the deal is not consumated til my DR. calls the Rx in and then drugstore.com gets back in touch with me for credit card info and such? I felt like they kind of left me hanging after I got the page for "Doctor phone or fax".

You must not have "continued" enough. Mine was confirmed with a confirmation # and a follow up email. My credit card info was already in "my account" since I have used Drugstore.com before.......even though there should be a zero balance and no charges should appear.

Greetings from the drugstore.com(tm) pharmacy,

Thank you for choosing the drugstore.com(tm) pharmacy for your
prescription needs. We received your prescription request. Our
pharmacist will contact your doctor for your new prescription. Please
note that it may take up to five days to contact your doctor.

Once your order has been completed, we will mail your prescription in
accordance with the billing and shipping preferences you selected.
Preparing and delivering your prescription may take five to eight
days via Standard shipping. We will send you an e-mail confirmation
as soon as your order has been shipped

Nobody in the house? You are very lucky, indeed.

To heck with getting points.

FSCHER: thanks for the help above. I did get an email confirmation. Maybe I just didn't notice an online confirmation #.

What are you referring to below? Did I miss something?

FSCHER: Thanks, now I get it! Shouldn't have been that hard, but then I'm a blonde.

FAYE: As far as I know one does need an Rx here in the States. How do you go about getting yours in Mexico? The large tube (45 grams) was around $40 from drugstore.com and it's generic.

I visit Mexico every 2-3 years. Just walk into any drug store. I am about out. The last time I bought in Teaguna< can't remember spelling, close to San DIego, it was $10 for 40 grams- the large tube. I usually buy 3 year supply and keep it in the refrigerator until use.
