E-rewards redemption
Well, just today I finally earned enough points to get the first level of prizes. Thankfully, the points were still in my account (according to some other threads, I had until 3/31 before the points expired). Anyway, I took the 1000 Hilton Honors points. It may not be worth much, but I never rent movies, the $25 airline certs are more or less worthless to me, and w/ Hilton I'm saving up for a Hawaii award. So now I'm 1000 points closer. Plus, getting a 1000 points for the GMAC insurance quote, plus updating the profile etc., I'm getting there quicker than I thought I would. tls

I just exchanged $50 e-rewards for 3000 HH points as well..It's amzing that those points posted to my HH account almost instantly!
After spent a few weeks trying to find out which award is best for e-reward money, I think HH is best for me. I don't watch too much movie and I don't ski. So the blockbuster and ski reward to me is a waste.
I used to redeme Hertz certificates but it seems like I can always find better deal through the internet without these certs.
For the airline awards, there are minimum fare requirements and cannot be used on line..

I just have read the expiration policy and understood that my $$ are going to expire in march 2002. I think I will transfer my earnings to my HH account. Do they post them electronically /online or do they send you a paper voucher? Thanx.

Finally, my e-Rewards balance crossed the $50 threshold this afternoon. As many of you suggested, I *instantly* redeemed it for 3,000 HHonors points. Oh boy, it surely posted fast!
However, I am not totally satisfied. Firstly, it consumed much more of my effort than AutomallOnline did for the same 3,000 points. Secondly, it was only 3,000 points, not 62K!

In my case with E-rewards, after I make the initial click thru ("earn more")to get maybe .60 total, if I go back through the same click thru ("earn more") another "earn more" screen will pop up & I'll get another .40 +- for a total of $1.00.
