Buy.Com-How Long Will They Exist?

Buy.Com is a partner with miles earning sites, but their stock has plummeted in recent months.

Is it safe to buy from Buy?

I've made numerous purchses from them over the past two years...all without incident, and all product delivered within two days of purchase.

Also, their generous promotion offers have made purchasing products from them quite an easy decision.

I too have bought from them when in the USA and was very happy with the prices and efficiency. I really hope they survive.

I've always had good results with buy.com too. Glad I didn't buy their stock, though.

Always had real good luck. Decent prices/specials, quick delivery. If you stop making online purchases solely on the basis of the dot-com's recent stock price history, you had better just head for the mall.

I agree with CactusPete's shopping assessment I'll also add that I, too, have always been satisfied with orders placed at buy.com and would not hestitate to place one at this point in time...

I would continue to use them. Make sure you pay with a credit (not a debit) card and make sure you only buy things you know you won't want to return and all should be fine even if they go under.

And, if you visit Couponsurfer's website, you'll find a $50 off $250 purchase coupon

It's always recommended to use credit card for online shopping and mail orders. Not just buy.com purchases...

SharonLPK,

Only $25 off $250 not $50 off coupon is available. Additionally $10 off $100 and free shipping with min $100 purchase promos are currently available.

This is one area where buy.com has been slipping, though.

I recently bought a $99 hard drive (plus a $1.87 binder to push it over $100) from officedepot.com with a $30 off $100 purchase online coupon, plus a $30 off mail-in rebate.

Buy.com doesn't seem to do anything that good (ie. stupid) these days, so I haven't bought from them for some time.
