Cards for C2it?

It seems not all cards accept the C2it transfer as a mileage accriung activity. My NorthWest Visa sees this as a simple cash advance as does my Marriott Visa.
Any idea which Visa cards work for this?

Were you charged a cash advance fee? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Not sure about the fee, but I called WP Visa and the CSR told me that I don't get miles for wire transfers

You should be fine, as it is not a "wire transfer" per se. There are many ways to transfer funds these days and many NWA WP Visa users have successfully got WP miles using c2it and incurred no CA fees. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Wonder whether they caught on to the loophole..? They now call it a cash advance and no miles :=((

I don't recall who has NW & Marriott affinities, but MBNA & a couple other creditors changed their policy this summer. Money transfers through any service (c2it, paypal, yahoo, etc.) = cash advances. AND Money received through these services do not count towards min due.

You get miles on the citibank AAdvantage cards. Also, if you lower your available cash advance limit to $10.00, you won't accidentally get fees - the transaction would be rejected.
