Has anyone tried to get this reward more than once? (you'll notice it says that you can get the reward once every 24 hours).
I was wondering if it moves based on how many times you clicked it.

I have.. I got 25 points yesterday then found Max again in New Merchants today but got only 5 points.

Well, I found max in the new merchants section yesterday at around 2pm, before the 24 hours to get the award..
Anyway, a few minutes ago I tried looking for max, unfortunately it is not in any of the sections. Oh well !! Adios
