Milesbar.com questions
On milesbar.com they say you can Transfer your miles to your favorite airline program. Does anyone knows anything about this? What rating? 1:1? If so milesbar.com is even better then I first thought.

It appears it's more like 1 FFM/2 Milesbar miles. Here's a link that explains their redemption program ...
http://www.milesbar.com/redeem.htm.
Not as good as I had hoped, but at least it's FREE, eh?

I do know that you have to be a PLATINUM member to transfer milesbar miles to individual frequent flyer mile programs.
I wrote an email to Milesbar asking about this very topic. I received a response from Sue Chenowyth, VP Business Development. Here is what she said:
"One MilesBar earned miles is equal to one OnePass (Continental Airlines) Frequent Flyer mile. We have used OnePass as the main program to compare our miles. For other airlines we will determine how many OnePass miles it would take to get a free ticket and how many would it take (all things being equal) in the other airline programs. That comparison would be the equivalent miles required for transfer to the other programs."
Hope this helps to clear up some things for everyone. I'm still trying to figure out if it clears it up for me!!!
