$$ for those gift certificates PLUS miles
When I cash in for certificates I do so for stores near my home. I then go during busy times find someone who is paying cash and ask them if they could use the gift certificate I received. I then go and buy what I wanted using my CC and get the miles for it.Or purchase the item else where where it might be cheaper and still get the miles from the CC and have cash left over. Never waited more than 5 mins till I found someone to take it off my hands. This way I can shop where I want and still not pay for the item. Got a Barnes & Noble GC get the cash and then buy it anywhere.
