Freeride offline?
I checked in to Freeride last night. Everything was OK until the site crashed. I tried to re-load and got a page that said the site was down for alterations and they would be back soon.
Anybody else feel that this could be the end?

I don't think this is the end for FreeRide, but i would be getting those points out. My recent point redemptions have made things obvious about the problems, as the gift certificates oft come close to expiration, and the lower-tier rewards got killed off for a lot of merchants.
In other words, take 500-point rewards. I didn't think FreeRide had any air-travel rewardish stuff. **** shame, too...i wish CO or TW would get down with something besides ClickRewards.

Well it's 10 days in a few hours now!
Just cashed in for $200 worth of Marriott certs prior to the self induced crash!
My fingers are crossed!

Yes- and the options for earning have been diminished as well point levels for claiming rewards being raised somewhat higher- at least the American Airlines and Marriott certs are still available at "reasonable" levels!

Well earning several hundred points for a 10 dollar AA certific, It's not worth it.
I was saving points for a free month's of AT&T Worldnet service. They cancelled it: in October (although in my profile I said this is what I prefer.)
Now my points languish and I say Freeride has stalled for me for good.

Are we talking about the same freeride.com here? Doc says that the point redemption for AA and Marriott certs hasn't changed, but it appears to me that it has(e.g., from 2675 pts to 2950 for a $25 cert). Also, I have been able to access and use the site since at least 11/24, even though the redemption options have diminished considerably (to about 60 pts daily max). What is going on?

Freeride.com was entirely inaccessible to me during this time!
Could they have possibly made another readjustment again today?
Currently:
Marriott-
$10 (1350pts)
$25 (2950pts)
$50 (5750pts)
American-
$25 (2950pts)
$50 (5750pts)
Clearly they are struggling these days in the current market environment!
