Altavista problems?
Has anyone been able to redeem points there in the past week? Every time I try to get my Click Miles, the system seems to refuse to note that 1) I am logged in, and 2) I have spendable points.
Is it working for anyone? Or is it just weridness with my account? I'd give up on the program if it weren't for the chance of the Clickmiles.

Yep...been having the same problem for about a week now. E-mailed AltaVista a number of times about it and kept getting very unhelpful responses. Finally got a useful response tonight! --
Quoted from AV e-mail:
"When you are attempting to redeem for an item and experience difficulty, please attempt the redemption again.
If you continue to experience difficulties, we can process a manual redemption for you. We would need to know your full name, shipping address, e-mail used on your Rewards account, the item description and
the quantity of each item you would like to redeem for.
We can manually process your redemption and you will receive an email confirmation once the redemption has been processed. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.
Regards,
AltaVista Support Team"

Then went back to the AltaVista site and attempted the redemption again... and "BEHOLD" --- it actually worked this time! :-Q

Just tried it again. It appeared to work for mee too. Though it now says its transfering points to my e-mail address instead of my name like before.
Hoping I don't end up with 2 different Click.accounts.

I ditched my "Alta Vista experience" when they reduced the per click to 25 pts, maximum 10 featured sites per day. One can earn 250 pts. per day, and if you want to try for their 1000 max per day, be prepared to click endlessly on those 5 pt. pages.
At 250 per day, you need to visit 12 days just to get 100 Click Reward miles!
