Fed up with Clickrewards?

Am I the only one that is having problems getting click rewards posted?

I have had success in the past, but in the last month I have placed 5 orders and only had 1 post.

After sending letters to Click rewards and carbon copies to the vendors I have yet to get the problem corrected.

Your thoughts please.

I know and believe that it is a GREAT program, it just seems lately it is getting sloppy for me anyway.

I've been having lots of problems too. Their postings are getting more and more like MyPoints. I hope they straighten out.

I have bought with various of their vendors and with some miles post within a week but with others it takes as long as a month or more to post.

Clickrewards is a great way to earn miles. I use the site often and have only had problems twice out of approximately 25 purchases. To date, the problem seems to be a result of the store selected verses Clickrewards. Customer service has always solved my problems within 3 weeks, and responded to my original e-mail within 72 hours. Looking at the articles posted on this site, this does not seem to be the case with everyone.

I wonder if customers who are having problems are having them with the same stores. The quality of the stores on the site range from excellent to terrible. I placed and cancelled orders 3 times from the same store. The items were never shipped (after 7 weeks) and I was never notified of any problem. Next day shipping, would they have charged me for that if the product ever shipped? Every time I called the store, I was placed on perma hold and then told it would be shipped the next day.

A recent article I read (can't remember where) had a comment from Delta that they were not concerned about the quality of stores and services that provide air miles. Retailers can purchase miles to use as incentives to lure business. Perhaps Clickrewards and the airlines need to adopt a quality charter to cover the institutions who issue miles to customers for ultimate redemption on the airlines programs?

All in all I find Clickrewards a very useful way to earn air miles. When the purchase is combined with a FF credit card, double benefit.

My experiences with Clickrewards have been all positive. Even the (2) situations with my not having miles posted have been pleasant. I just bought gift certificates from Sparks.com, and the points were posted within one hour of purchase! When I failed to receive points, it appeared to be a merchant problem rather than a Clickrewards program. In one case it took 3 weeks to have points posted. Once a week a member of the Clickrewards CS staff sent me a "we're still working on it and haven't forgotten about you" e-mail.

All in all I am very happy with the service I receive from Clickrewards. For those situations where points have taken a long time to post, which merchant were you shopping with? My delay came with the Gap.

My only problem out of about 40 purchases has been with Worldspy. Clickrewards took about a month to credit the points, and tacked on another 100 ClickMiles for the delay.

I've been having a lot of trouble with OfficeMax. I get an automated reply telling me that ClickRewards would be happy to contact OfficeMax on my behalf (isn't that your job?). I'm bagging the whole thing and moving to greenpoints or mypoints. I seem to have better luck there.

I've had a bit of trouble getting ClickRewards points for purchasing something.

It seems the stores on Click Rewards aren't as varied as at some other sites. MyPoints is not much better, and they are worse in crediting the points to my account when I do purchase something.

Perhaps the company isn't doing so well.

I always have problems with Sparks.com. I always get half of what I'm supposed to have in terms of clickmiles. But clickrewards always fixed it within a week.

Some of the Clickrewards merchants are slow, but Clickrewards has always made good for me. Greenpoints, on the other hand, is clueless, technologically incompetent, unwilling to help, AND slow -- all at once!

tasnam - don't use snail mail, use e-mail to contact ClickRewards. I've been dealing with ClickRewards since 1998, and have had a couple of times when miles earned didn't post. I sent ClickRewards an e-mail, received a prompt response, and they checked it out and the miles posted following their inquiry. Prompt and accurate, sez I. Would that the same could be said for MyPoints.

My problems have been with WorldSpy. The customer service people try hard, but the store is a joke and management has no clue. Order after order, nothing ever shows up. Call after call, promissed the next day. I would not know about getting clickreward miles, I never got the products. Had to cancel. So, yes Worldspy is one of them. Office Max is not easy either, product codes do not match all of the codes on the items in the actually physical stores.

I still like clickrewards, as mentioned above, they just need to get rid of the bad stores.

Here I have been praising CR over and over and last night I went to order dog food via CR and Petstore.com is was not on the shopping index. I went to the Petstore.com main site and it says they are a member of CR. I then went back to CR into the help section and found Petstore on a list, but they are not on the shopping index. Would be nice if CR kept shoppers updated with who the members are and who has left so you don't have to waste time trying to figure out if the store has fallen off the index or is no longer a part of CR. If petstore is gone as a member, I will be looking for a new way to earn miles for pet food, which means I am looking for CR compition. Will wait and see.
