Greenpoints query

Hi all

Ihave noticed recently that Greenpoints is limited to US citizens only.

When I signed up for their beta test (for the 10,000 points) I don't recall being asked whether I was a US citizen. For those others who signed up at the same time as me - did Greenpoints ask this question when they were looking for people for their beta test?

cheers Peter

10,000 points were issued to "charter" members who signed up before the program got off the ground. This promotion is no longer available. I do not know the link for the posting but if you do SEARCH: Greenpoints, you might find it. (wouldn't do any good though because its over with )

PETER, I'm not sure about the U.S. Citizen rule but Greenpoints allows you to transfer points to other members. If this turns out to be the case my email is [email protected] !!!
I would be happy to take them off your hands. LOL

I hope it works out for the best

Peter, I'm not sure if this is legal per the rules of the program, but you could probably transfer your points to someone here you may know from the US. I believe the miles come as 500 mile certificates (not positive haven't traded mine in yet) then you could have that person mail them to you. If you wanted to be nice you could let the "handler" keep a cert or two for their postage and trouble.
