Greenpoints - Get 'em While You Can
Today (St Patty's Day) Greenpoints.com is offering 30 points per dollar. At 2700 points per 500 mile DL or AA Certificate that's $90 in merchandise you need to buy. They've been advertising 20 points per dollar, or $135 per certificate.
I just got an e-mail from their president welcoming me, and touting their 20 points per dollar rate, >>double their normal rate<<. So, once they drop to their normal rate it will cost you $270 in merchandise per certificate. Still pretty good, but not the deal we've been getting.
You're a nice group of people. I already feel welcome here. Thanks!

Thanks for checking on the backorder situation, burkey. I was planning to send them an inquiry on that as well, as I noticed that the two AA certificates I'm waiting for were listed as backordered on Thursday.
As golden girl pointed out in another Buzz thread, if you go to Sparks.com through Greenpoint and make a $25 purchase today, you get a free $20 gift certificate, 750 Greenpoints, and free shipping.
Unfortunately, I made a qualifying Sparks.com purchase two days ago and missed the St. Patty's Day special! I did, however, decide to check the ClickRewards box to see if I'd get credited both places. Haven't seen yet whether it worked or not.

Until yesterday they were offering double points for all purchases "for a limited time", so the 30 points/dollar is actually a decrease from the double points (40 points/dollar).
Pissed me off last night when I placed a $300 order for contact lenses at more.com ... that's 500 DL miles I should have gotten!

Beckles- I think 20 points *is* double the normal. I only got 20 for a purchase I made the other day.

I just an hour ago made a greenpoints purchase and the site read 20pts/$. I actually don't know if that's doubled from 10 already or to be doubled to 40. It's just not clear to me. Well see. It's a good deal either way.

I guess I just got lucky and got my certificates before they ran out. I have to say, I have never received anything like this so fast. I had my certificates in Hawaii only five days after ordering them. Unreal!!! I hope that you all have the same luck with the backordered ones.
