I do remember though in high school in England, 9p used to get me one cigarette and one match!

Ah! That's where the smoking started!
As for the sweeties, I couldn't understand why I almost felt ill after gorging on them - it was all sugar s**t of course, made by the likes of Trebor and co.
It brings back memories of freezing mornings in Banffshire, the smell of chimney smoke in the ground mist and the somehow very sad tinkle of the ice cream van.
And as for our current round of earning money for TopCashBack by clicking endlessly everywhere, it's turning out to be a total waste of time ... again.
Just to add, the fishing, which I admit to doing, is yielding absolutely nothing.

But it's sure brought back some memories. 10p to me were the coins my mum used to give me for the phone box, if I missed my bus home.
10p coins in those days were quite heavy and felt like something substantial.

Coast for today. PDE
I have not done any fishing myself. Only do a couple of sites before the daily clue. typically just visit places that have been mentioned on fakebook where others have spotted a random one, once I hit, then do the daily clue. But my days of going through that list that I created long ago on occasion, not anymore. I honestly do not think that my chances will be any better if I have one entry, vs 500 entries.

Oh dear, these PDEs are getting really tedious. I won CHF19.20 on the Swiss Lotto today (older ticket) so I think there is more chance of winning there.

Doing very well this time - got £1.40 so far plus one stamp away from both the £10 and £20 prizes (before you say £1.40 is not possible, I have a home account and office account...)
Still think this "game" is stupid though. I'd rather have a wheel of fortune or similar. Zero interest in any of the prize merchants anyway
