Looks as if this Coke prize (if it really is from their NCAA basketball contest) is a "gift horse" that needs its teeth floated. Would sending the winners an actual physical gift card have been so hard?

There is no reference to Coke Rewards, and therefore it looks a little sketchy, but I know the company is legit. Anyone else received this?

Another limited time offer...First 100k to enter 4 Codes get a $2 Dunkin Donuts e-gift card emailed to them.

Even though this article says once all 100k enter their codes, the gift cards will be emailed out...all of the accounts that I manage received their gift card claim emails immediately upon entering the 4th code.
I know, it's only $2 but hey, it's only 4 codes as well. That's .50¢ per code...pretty good value for Coke!

Well, it's over. I had Virginia (the ultimate winner) and received some prizes as they rose through the bracket, the most useful being a $3 gift card to Target. For holding the winning team, I (and about 24,999 others) got a $1 credit in case I wanted to design my own bottle markings, which (I suspect) would have cost well over a dollar. Not like the old days <sigh>.

Not what they were, but they do count as a "product code" same as the code inside a cap
They can also be used for donations to charities and other worthy causes here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/ The 12-pack flaps are a 15 cent donation (sometimes doubled, depending on the charity). By comparison, the cap lid codes are worth 5 cents. For the donation value of codes, see: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/code-value/
