Note: it's down to $5 credit now (from $20, when OP first posted this).
However, given that Uber Will very likely have surge pricing in effect for NYE, five dollars off your first ride isn't bad considering that they're running a promotion for $10 flat rate during New Year's Eve. So my ride home tonight will cost me about 5 to 7 dollars.
