$100 Sharebuilder Offer

I happened upon this link to an offer for a $100 bonus from Sharebuilder for transferring $500 from another brokerage. I've seen threads on mileage bonsues from Sharebuilder but not cash bonuses like this. Anyone have experience with this or similar offers?

Isn't Sharebuilder now a CapOne entity?

I've seen $50 and $75 cash bonus offers in past months.

So what? I too would prefer the $100 offer to the $50 offer which has been around for years in my email box...Capital One has not changed any meaningful ING/orange spot/Sharebuilder policies that I know about. They have warned me not to hold over $250K to be fully FDIC insured but I think that's probably a luxury problem that won't affect many flyertalkers. Not really relevant to the brokerage side of things anyway. If there's some reason people don't like Cap One well, whatever, they've always treated me right, knock on wood.

It's $5,000, not $500.

I won't try to dig out the details,
but IIRC there was a significant bonus ($250?)
last year BF, it required COSTCO exec membership,
but it was worth it.

Also seems like I had a couple $100+ bonii over the years,
but I closed all ING stuff earlier this year, moved cash to AX Savings..
