You're not buying an item and reselling it either. You are intentionally listing items to "buy" yourself, using a different account, and going through a site that offers cash back on transactions. Since these aren't actually real transactions--no money is changing hands, then I'd say you're running a scam.

How does this line of ebay/ebates debates/discussion/scams have anything to do with our SPAM (Sites with Points and Alternative Miles) anyway?

Very true, but I'm confused about the OP's intent in joining FT solely for the purpose of posting this scam, er, loophole she's exploiting? Most of this subforum's users are at least nominally interested in FT. This doesn't appear to be the case here.
