My thoughts--it's not right, even if you're technically not violating any T&C's of either site.

Just curiously how?

Is it not right to use coupons to buy an item and then resell it?

You're never actually "selling" the item. No money is changing hands, because it's all staying with you, since it's your item. How could money change hands if it was your item before you started this process and is still your item afterwards, but there was a "purchase" transaction?

You're not buying an item and reselling it either. You are intentionally listing items to "buy" yourself, using a different account, and going through a site that offers cash back on transactions. Since these aren't actually real transactions--no money is changing hands, then I'd say you're running a scam.

Well of course you don't return it as you never bought it. You are just running a scam to get the money from e-bates.

How does this line of ebay/ebates debates/discussion/scams have anything to do with our SPAM (Sites with Points and Alternative Miles) anyway?

This is NOT OMNI.

Very true, but I'm confused about the OP's intent in joining FT solely for the purpose of posting this scam, er, loophole she's exploiting? Most of this subforum's users are at least nominally interested in FT. This doesn't appear to be the case here.

FlyerTalk is not the place to discuss "scamming" other sites.
