Miles from Ebay

My very first post on FT. Please, I plan to do a lot of shopping on ebay (USA store) this week and wondering what partner airlines offer miles for ebay shopping.

I know Virgin Atlantic, BA & BMI give miles but it appears it's restricted to UK ebay store (ebay.co.uk).

Any ideas please. I need to maximise all the value from my shopping from ebay.com (USA) this week.

Many thanks in advance

There is no country restriction, just use the appropriate link (for the FF program) to enter Ebay. If you search for items internationally, all Ebay sites are linked anyway.
Another program you can earn points for Ebay purchases is Marriott.

If you have an Amex MR card you can earn 3 or 4 points per $ via the bonuspointsmall.com site.

You could join MyPoints and get 2 points per dollar spent on ebay. You can redeem 10,000 pts for 5000 UA miles or 5100 pts for 2500 miles so it is basically 1 UA mile per dollar spent.

OP didn't specify what FFP was he/she interested in, but it seems of the Legacy airlines THE ONLY ONE to offer any chance for miles from eBay purchases is UA via MyPoints @ 2-4 MyPoints/US$ (depending on the month of purchase) to accumulate for 2500 Millage+ Miles (5100 MyPoints) or 5000 Millage+ Miles (10000 MyPoints) at a time w/o $ or time limits (MyPoints doesn't expire as well).

The reason UA is offering Miles is that they used to own MyPoints until they sold 'em to United Online (no relation to UA) several years ago....

If you go this way you can answer the Surveys provided (10 MyPoints if you don't qualify, 50-200 MyPoints if you do) and use the grocery savings coupons provided (by coupons.com and Smart Source, 10 MyPoints/coupons.com coupon redemption, 25 Bonus MyPoints for the 1st 10 coupons you print/month) to reduce the time needed to get enough MyPoints for an award.

So far it seems neither AA nor DL have ways to use eBay purchases to get Miles into their FFP's ...

here are the terms:

Find whatever you're looking for at eBay and receive 4 Points per dollar. Your Points will not be credited if you are using an auction-monitoring program or if you are using eBay Toolbar. Please disable these applications prior to responding to MyPoints offers.

You will receive 4 Points per dollar for every purchase you make (excluding purchases made in the real estate, auto, eBay motors and travel categories).

eBay will remember you only for a period of seven days from the point you make your initial bid. If your auction is more than seven days from ending, please make sure you check your auction through MyPoints within the closing seven days. This will ensure you receive your Points.

and a link to get you 750 miles just for joining:
