FR4188 on 20 April (Delayed)

Does anyone take this particular flight? The flight was scheduled at 22:20, which eventually took off at around 3:00 on 21 Apri and touched down at STN at 3:30.

Ryanair say that it's due to the weather but I did not see any adverse weather as such on that date. The in-app update or someone (captain?) said that the delay was due to the knock off effect from the morning flight, I don't think anything with the wether. In fact, other flights seemed OK. Surprisingly, the in-app updates were all deleted before boarding, I reinstated my booking but no updates were seen. I found this airline very unreliable.

Weather seems plausible. The inbound flight FR4189 attempted to land at BGY but ended up diverting to MXP. The aircraft remained at MXP for a few hours and then flew to BGY early in the morning.

Here are the METAR weather observations at BGY (LIME) from just before the flights scheduled arrival until the end of the day:

It looks like thunderstorms were the culprit.

Thank you. Yes, I overheard that someone was talking about the aircraft at MXP. Thunderstorms were observed the day before (19th) but I did not see any bad weather on that date. The thing is that no staff updated us at the gate (the gate changed at boarding, which was not told at all!), so frustrating.

So, this means the delay was due to the adverse weather (thunderstorms)?

Yes, caused by/knock-on effects of adverse weather = no comp.
