This thread was meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek. Turned out I got the facts wrong--I misread something on the internet. I read they sell one for EUR 2 and seven for EUR 5 which would be at least slightly absurd pricing. That coupled with the fact that allegedly, nobody has ever won the EUR 1m price might have made for a lighthearted, low-content thread.
However, the truth is they sell one for EUR 2 and seven for the price of five, i.e., seven for EUR 10 which seems far less outrageous. So not much content left to get this thread started. All I have left are two alleged facts. One, it is claimed flight attendants are supposed to sell 25 cards per flight. Two, it is repeatedly alleged on the interwebz that nobody ever won the main price of a million euros.
