Ryanair sized luggage

My daughters are going to Europe this summer and are flying Ryanair between cities. They want hardside carry on luggage, but I can't seem to find any that fits the 20cm depth that they are allowed. Any suggestion for models that might work?

Thanks, David

FR hasn't been very strict in enforcing sizes recently, but YMMV.

This is true. I took just a backpack on my flight and even then I was wondering if they'll say something. A lot of others took on board rollers that are well above the standard allowed size.

I would recommend a soft backpack instead of a hardcase, both for size and weight! Ryan Air also has a weight limit and a full roll-aboard can easily exceed that.
eBags Weekender and CabinMax have very good carry-on size backpacks that meet Ryan Air (and other European LCC) restrictions!

An airline being strict or not has nothing to do with the airline itself. It all comes down to the check-in/gate agent you have in front of you.
You can have the most extreme rules, if your gate agent doesn't apply/enforce them, tough luck.
