Ryanair Scraps On-Time Arrival Bugle
Ryanair fliers are all too familiar with (and annoyed by) the airline's on-time arrival bugle. If you haven't had the opportunity to hear it, here's what you've been missing out on: http://youtu.be/YQmQi7USQ3o
The airline hosted a Twitter poll asking customers if they'd like a more quiet, bugle-less landing and the response was an overwhelming YES. Ryanair is taking action and ditching the often-complained-about recorded bugle sound. The airline hasn't commented as to whether it'll be replaced by something else, but for now let's focus on the positive: Ryanair is listening to customers and making changes.

Ryanair to axe "On-Time Bugle"

The airline said the famous on-time bugle was one of the aspects of the experience it was looking at as part if a series of enhancements of customer experience.
We asked our followers on Twitter to vote on whether we should change it. The people have spoken and after hundreds of votes, theyve voted for change, so were looking forward to unveiling our next customer improvement soon, Ryanair spokesman Robin Kiely said in a statement. It is not yet clear when the bugle will be turned off or what sound, if any, will replace it.
