Ryanair Visa/Documentation Desk

Hello,

As per Ryanair's website, non-EU/EEA nationals need to have their documents/visa checked at some desk. I will be traveling only with hand luggage (carry-on) and am not planning on visiting the check-in desk.

Where are these desks located? Flying to/from STN.

Thank you!

Flying from STN you have to pass the ticket counters and check in area to get to security so it's not taking you out of your way - just give yourself plenty of time.

I've only travelled with one person doing this and it wasn't at STN, but they had to go to the service desk to have their boarding pass validated.

Flying to STN - you'll have to say where you're flying from as it'll depend on the layout of that airport.

Hint: The departures board at every airport will always tell you which check-in desk(s) to go to for each flight. It's usually fairly straightforward to figure out where they are once you know which number(s) you are looking for. If it isn't already apparent when you walk into the airport!

The Visa check is not necessarily done at a check in desk.

I've had instances where check-in directed me to the service desk. When in doubt, go for the service desk first as the line could be a lot shorter.

Indeed it's not, but if there's not a sign there telling you where to go, or you haven't encountered the Ryanair service desk on your way to the checkin desk, at least you know where to find the Ryanair staff to ask.
