Ryanair cuts at EDI

Press conference due later today where Ryanair are expected to announce significant cuts to their Edinburgh operation due (allegedly) to disagreements over costs with BAA.

They tend to threaten to throw teddy out of pram when airport operators won't give them everything for nothing.

Then again BAA are trying to screw as much money as possible out of Edinburgh Airport before they are forced to sell it.

I'm only surprised they haven't signed any "poisoned chalice" contracts which would commit new owners to long term deals on disadvantageous terms
