Russian Visa from SFO Consulate

I need to get a business visa from the SFO consulate. My company is preparing the official invitation, but curious if there are any tips.

I have been warned by folks to not go there myself, but to pay to have a service do it. Gladly.

But which service? I know the web shows 3-4 companys that can do it, any experience?

This one has been recommended to me. I plan to use them in about a month from now.

Thanks for the recommendation. When I get back to the US I'll likely be doing this in about 3 weeks time too, so will post my experience.

I used russia-visa.com a few times. Every time my passport came back with a "VisaHQ" sticker on it. They have subsequently merged with VisaHQ or have stpped using the old name and are now VisaHQ. I was always satisfied with their service.

I am halfway through applying using A Briggs and their Washington office. So far, they have been spectacular.

If you do it yourself, get there an hour and ten min before it opens. Usually all the visa processing services show up an hour before, so you'll have to spend a lot of time waiting for them to process the passports of others.
