For the enforcement of compensation there are now enough specialised law firms in the market that will take about 20% of the sum.

To answer your question: Last time we missed a connection in 2014 (due to a medical emergency of the incoming aircraft, so no compensation due), we were accommodated in a "hotel" within terminal E: 8 hours time limit for a 2 share windowless bedroom and abdominal noise insulation. We were given food vouchers but these were not accepted by any restaurant of our choice, so we ended up donating them to refugees which were camping in the terminal.

Note: this was a paid business class itinerary, we were both Aeroflot Bonus Gold.
We both did not hold Russian passport or visa, so it was not possible to leave the terminal.

I've not yet tried the SU95 but am very excited to hear that they go to SXF now - will hopefully get to try it on my next trip home.

Thanks a lot hessbo!

I think I will play safe and ask Aeroflot to put me on an earlier flight from SXF.

I think it is a bit of an abnormality that the SU95 flies to SXF, most of the aircraft I have seen departing from SXF are A33x/B738. Maybe Aeroflot has some issues with maintenance lately?
