Connecting at DME

I have a domestic flight (S7) from KJA to DME with an eight hour overnight layover before my flight to London on BA. It's all on one ticket, but does anyone know if I will need to collect my luggage and re-check it at DME?

No. Provided its checked all the way. You will need to move from one end of the airport (domestic) to the other end (international)

When you arrive from Kras, hang a right, walk all the way to middle of the terminal, international departures to London is on the second floor. You need to clear passport control first, and security + Nudescope.

BA tends to use the same gate on the second level, same level as the Swiss Lounge.

Frankly changing planes in London is more work.
