Lyft charged me an airport surcharge when I wasn't at the airport!
So I live very, very close to CMH airport (can see the towers from my front yard). I took Lyft the other day from my house to a location that is also very close to CMH airport (yet not at the airport, it's on the other side of the runways). Going from my house to the location on Lyft was not a problem, but in the reverse direction, I was charged the $3 airport surcharge even though I was neither going to nor coming from CMH. Has anyone else had this happen on either Lyft or Uber?

Yup--it happens all the time to me. I never have any difficulty getting it refunded after a quick message, although it's a bit annoying to have to deal with it in the first place.

I requested a review a couple days ago on the ride, and, shockingly, they haven't gotten back to me yet. Has anyone ever had the same issue on Uber? If not, I know what app I'm deleting off of my phone.
