I drove UberX, it happened once or twice to me. It's remedied by a two second email to customer service that can be sent through the app. No free rides, here.

When did it become moral correct to not pay for a service received, because of some trivial error in the "paperworks"?

For whatever reason, there's a part of Durham where my phone gets no signal. I can't send texts, I can't go on Facebook, I can't connect to websites etc. If Uber fares come in I can't accept them and if I accept a fare elsewhere and drive into this area to pick someone up, I can't start the trip.

The other day I was only able to start a trip 500 feet from the destination. I had to drive around the parking lot to get to a distance that Uber considered long enough to consider a trip and allow me to close it out.
