Beware changes in IDine listings
I just went on the site to look up a restaurant menu. Bingo! Many changes. Old reliables gone and new places on the list.

Oh, yeah, that happens with some frequency. Bunches of newbies in Sacratomato CA area, and some oldies dropped off like swatted flies. The end and beginning of month is a great time to check.
We just checked out two new places not far from us - one is OK, decent, the other has some growing to do. A favored sushi spot and a Davis Japanese restaurant for years have gone sayonara, and a couple of others I have counted in are gone - but OTOH, some of the stalwarts go on.
You need to get some closer to you - if only!

Thanks for the head up!
One of my standbys is leaving the system next month.
Must have been my decision to use them as my way to get PC elite status at $5/pop per gift card.
Moreover, they said they had no plans to leave IDINE!
Guess I will have to get a massive Gift Card via one of my AAdavantage IDINE credit cards before they leave!

Just make sure those gift cards can be honored!
I'm on the hunt for a favorite restaurant of mine that didn't show a Benefits Alert, but is missing from the list when I search by zip codes.
Postings seem to be slower now as well.
You are all welcome! (an old fashioned phrase that people used to say when someone said 'thank you'. )

First, since I have been burned over the years by places coming and going I ALWAYS check or call the day of. It is the only sure way.
Someone said the fax did not work. The fax I have for them is:
305-892-3364
and it has always worked for me.
Good luck! peace!

Update:
a large end of August IDine for me has not come through. The restaurant dropped off the program for Sept with no 'Benefits Alert'. Yes, I am watching this closely.
Not pleased!
Edited to add: have been been receiving the 'please review your restaurant' emails as well.
Is the whole system slow?

Bumping thread - since it is the beginning of the month.
When I checked last month (September), one of my "soda joints" had a "benefit alert" that they are "leaving at the end of the month" (Setpember 30
).
However, when I just checked, this same location has a "benefit alert" that they are "leaving at the end of the month" (October 31
)!
At least I have another month to get my $1.49 dines!
But which do you believe?

the_traveler, thanks for the BUMP. The IDine choices in my area have done a lot of changing, but some of the changes were mid month in Sept with no warning at all.
No Benefits Alert!
I'm not pleased with how this program is functioning now.
