Switching cards
How quickly does iDine recognize a credit card switch? It takes several days for a dine to show up. If you switch a card between programs before a dine posts, will that dine get posted to the old account, new account, or lost?

We don't really know what their time-frame is -- how quickly they get a CC report, sort thru it all, etc...
Highly likely that, once a dine is 'pending', you might be safe, but even that's a crap shoot. They can make any number of excuses when there's dines in limbo.

I think that once a dine has hit a specific idine account -- and is pending as the poster above has saud -- it is safe to switch the credit card -- and not a minute sooner, for if you do it sooner, I think the piror dine that has yet to hit an account, will then come out on the new Idine account the credit card is attached to.
I have never had this happen to me, fortunately, but I bet someone on this board has had this happen -- were you later able to have the dine posted to the correct account based on the dine date and the later switch of the credit card date, or not?
Anyone?
