Yes, with two possible exceptions: 1) The restaurant is not giving any miles that day (blacked out from participating - you'll see an X under that date at their Rewards Network listing if that's the case, or 2) It is a one-visit-per-month joint, and you've already dined there previously in the same calendar month [with the same airline - a different airline is okay].
Otherwise, any charge (inc gift certs) they run through the credit card machine should be fine. HOLD ON TO YOUR RECEIPTS UNTIL THEY POST!

Easy does it
gardener, you'll notice dc3 has few posts. I've always found it greatly appreciated by those relatively unitiated who bend/break the FT common courtesy rules if we just let them know what the common courtesy rule is.
