"Qualifying" dine?

Ok, what exactly is a "qualifying" dine?

According to my account, I now have 13 dines in 2005, which should make me "Elite", yes? So far it's not showing up, and the miles on my 13th dine is at 3x.

A couple of my dines have been under $2 But should this even matter?

I must have my bonuses!!!

I would send an email to IDine customer service pointing out the error (without mentioning the small amount of some of your qualifiers) and see how they respond. Also, bonus miles sometimes show up in a second separate confirmation notice.

Is the promotion normally instant once your 12th meal posts? If there is a delay, has anyone noticed how long?

Ok, so talking to RN CSR, and they say the elite status is applied after the 1st of following month, and dines #13 and after will be retroactively applied with the 5x+5x miles+bonus.

Different Airlines, different policy?

It looks like Continental applies the elite bonus immediately.

I earned by 12th dine for lunch on the 16th and only got 3 miles. I had my 13th dine for dinner on the 16th and got 5+5 for that meal. I had my 14th dine for lunch the next day and got 5+5 for that meal.

My 12th dine posted first (I think on the 19th) and my 13th and 14th dine posted the next day (I think on the 20th).

So based on my experience, the elite bonus kicks in at least on the next day with Continental.

Well, my elite status was posted a few days after my 12th dine. My 13th, though, is still at 3x... but I'm not complaining, since it was only $1.86
