Where does Idine rank in your arsenal of miles earning tools?

After credit cards, I earn the second most amount of airline miles via Idine, perhaps three or four times what I earn flying. It makes me feel just the tiniest bit guilty, but I’ll get over it.

It would rank 2nd behind cr cd purchases if there was more than 1 restaurant in my area in the program. When we're at the beach there are quite a few more participating.

Honestly, I (and most others here) think your site is very useful, but I get so sick of you constantly using posts on this board as a referral source for it. Why not just answer the simple question? Just one poster's opinion.

It depends on the airline (one of the FF programs I belong to doesn't support iDine), but on average across all airlines I'd say it's probably 2nd after hotels (since I do 100ish+ one-night hotel stays a year, but most associated with commuting so no flying or car rental involved) or 3rd after credit cards, varying from month to month and year to year not only depending on how much I iDine vs how much I charge but also how many iDine bonuses I can participate in vs how many credit card bonuses I can (since on both some months or years I may earn more in bonuses than "regular").

Wow. Considering I earn roughly 200K miles a year flying, and 60K or so from credit cards, I'd have to say iDine is low on my list. But for me, it is great for topping off accounts and keeping orphan accounts active.

Plus there is nothing more fun than getting a "surprise" from iDine when I occasionally eat at an iDine restaurant w/o knowing it!

1. There is usually more information on my site about whatever program I am talking about. I see no reason to to copy and paste all of it here. Uses up web space and my time and effort. You get enough of the latter already.

2. Almost always the person asking the question is apparently not aware of my website. (Else the question would not have been asked.) So I do a service to that poster and anyone interested in the question by directing them to my site.

Idine is close to the bottom in my miles- and points-earning tools. Flying, hotel stays, credit card use all far outstrip it.

In the past year, I've earned about a couple thousand miles from idine, vs. hundreds of thousands of air miles, and hundreds of thousands of hotel points from flying, staying, and cc use.

I like IDine for the game!

sources of my miles: flights, credit cards, hotels, FTD.com, Kellogg's promotions, IGOUGO.com, IDine, E-Rewards, Opinion Place and soon AAdvantage e-shopping should come in with a lot of points from purchases I've been making.

I'm really surprised no one else has mentioned Kellogg's.
