Routes Car Rental

Does anyone have experience with Routes Car Rental? They showed up on my Autoslash request for MCO in October and I've never heard of them. It appears they are a Canadian company.

Resurrecting this thread b/c Routes is coming up in some of my searches (Expedia, Priceline) - I see at ORD they are off-airport which gets a bit complicated when you are traveling for pleasure with family, luggage, etc. But rates are good. How about quality of cars and service? Anyone? Thanks!

At ORD, I can't tell if they're in the multi-modal facility or not (flychicago.com says yes, their website says no), but their facility is at least 10 minutes from the terminals, and this (from their website) would not fill me with confidence:

UPON ARRIVAL, PLEASE CALL THE BELOW MENTIONED LOCATION NUMBER FOR PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS AND HOW TO GET TO A SHUTTLE. FOR O'HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ORD): 847-671-4000
So that basically means you're getting picked up from one of the following:

(a) the curb in front of the terminal, which doesn't add much time to the 10-minute drive to the facility
(b) the multi-modal facility, which would probably add a good 15 minutes to the 10-minute drive
(c) the Bus/Shuttle Center, which also takes 10-15 minutes to get to (closer to 15 if you've never been there before)

My sister-in-law and her family used Routes two years ago and I'm not aware of any major issues, but honestly, I would take a long look at the below link and ask yourself if there's anything on this list that would eat up the savings vs another agency, or that might not make the savings worth it: https://routes.ca/en/rentalpolicy

I wonder how these new, cheaper, entrants came in and found cars to purchase during the chip shortage and inflated used car prices.

Routes was around in the before times. Many of the others I'm guessing are buyouts of other failed rental car companies.
