Dollar - Oakland Airport, CA
Hi All,
Just a quick one. Im flying to Oakland on Monday and I want to hire a convertible, does anyone have any experience with Dollar Oakland?
Not seen much online. I've been hunting around as I desperately want a Mustang or Camaro but I have had a real hard time to find out if anyone has either of these available, I 100% do not want a Sebring or Mitsubishi Mirage thing..
So, is anyone aware of the fleets for Dollar, are they OK to deal with? Any tips on getting either car?

Many of the convertibles in the fleets of the major rental companies are Mustangs, but unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee a Mustang if you're just booking a standard convertible class. You can book a higher class like the Adrenaline Collection at Hertz, but that will cost a lot more. Dollar does not have anything similar in that class that I am aware of.
Bottom line, reserve and hope for the best. If you want to hedge your bets, make a reservation at more than one company and walk if they don't have anything that appeals to you.
