Next person to get one please keep it. We will store it away and check on it in 50 years. Actually if someone collects enough of them we can check it in 10, 50, and 100 years from now.

JFK Concorde Lounge Meal Options

I am travelling JFK-HKG-MEL in first class and I want to get me meal in the lounge since my CX flight leaves at 1 am.

Since CX shares the BA lounge, who do I speak to to arrange this?

I have tried BA and they told me to call CX. CX told me that they do not take care of this. Anyone have any idea? BTW, it is of course, a kosher meal.

Well, the not-so-good news is that you're not travelling HKG-MEL in F class as CX doesn't offer that any more on that route

But I'll PM you with a useful contact at JFK. I assume you won't have time to eat in Manhattan etc before you get to JFK, or you wouldn't have asked the question.

Safe trip, FF

There are NO pre flight meals in the lounge for CX F Passengers in the BA F Lounge, those pre flight meals are only for BA F Passengers before the BA flights, as CX rents the lounge from BA.

You can go to Cederhurst in Central Ave just 15 minutes from JFK they have some fine Japanese, Thai and other steak houses.

Also BA Staff are in charge of the lounge, there are no CX Staff in the Lounge.

I am traveling first class JFK to LAS roundtrip.
I called to request Kosher meals and they said there is no option for Kosher meals on my flights.

For a flight over 5 hours, you would think this would be an option in first class.

Probably American. You won't get a KSML from them in First, either, on West Coast - Hawaii flights (6 hours), DFW-HNL (more than eight hours) or (when they fly it) ORD-HNL (about 9 hours).

But they will give you a KSML in C/F on transcon routes, "because it's a long flight" - ie about the same as LAX-HNL but quite a bit shorter than DFW-HNL or ORD-HNL. Go figure......

Then even if you would have got a meal it would probably not have been worth eating. I would take your own food. We did that with Virgin America who also didn't offer kosher food in First.
