Do E-certs post with annual points or later on?
I have been billed the annual fee on my card and paid it off without receiving any points or certificates. I did some research and determined I need to spend $1 on the card, and wait for the next statement to close in order to receive my annual 40K points. I now have the 40K points, but not the annual E-Cert (I met the spending for 1 E-Cert). Have other people's E-Certs posted at the same time as the points or does it come later on? I'll give them a call if they're supposed to arrive at the same time.

Another DP here. Mine is opposite. E-Cert just came in and 40K still not there. So the answer is obviously no and hopefully we get both in the end. AFAIK you usually get 40K points 2 statement periods after annual fee.

I am a new Radisson person, so what you guys are saying is that e-certs come all at once, once a year, instead of throughout the year each time you spend $10k?

Correct it comes after account anniversary. For me it was Fee billed (and then paid) > 4 weeks or so later the e-certs arrived and another 4 weeks later the 40k points arrived in my account

Bumping an old thread since I have some questions on the $10k spend to get the e-certifcates. I've had the card for a while but never focused on spending more than $10k on the card since the e-cert were introduced because of the US property limit. (and because I have a lot of RR points) However since we will have 3-4 properties in NYC in the next couple of months, the potential to earn a free night with a $10k spend is on my radar so I want to make sure I understand how this works. Here is what I believe to be correct:
1. If my annual fee in 2019 was billed on the card on Feb. 4, 2019....that would be the date that my counter would start towards the $10k spend.
2. If I spend $10k by Feb. 3, 2020 (within one year after the renewal) I would get ONE e-certificate after I pay the annual fee in Feb. 2020. Naturally if I spend multiples of $10k I would get multiple free nights.
3. The e-certificates would be good for one year at ANY hotel in the US...regardless of award category.
Am I understanding this correctly? Are the e-certifcates pretty easy to redeem?

Yes that is my understanding (beside the fact that the day the AF is charged and account anniversary could be slightly different)
Have 5 certainly in my account hoping for more NYC properties
