Yes, there is an elite level which provides for enhanced point-earning capability and upgrades at selected properties. The elite level was first introduced last year and the requirements for earning/maintaining the status are still not clear to me, even though I happen to have it.

Bump.
Does anyone know if they comp elite status?
Are there any other perks than the possibility of an upgrade? Do they offer late check-out, free newspaper, free breakfast, free local calls, etc., or just the possibility of an upgrade?
From what I've read, it doesn't seem like they value their high revenue customers very much. Sure you get more points, but every program will give you that, plus a whole lot more. Other than points, why bother showing any loyalty to this brand? They don't seem to show any appreciation for loyal customers. I'd love to find out that my impressions are incorrect.
