Can you use pts for standard room then pay for upgrade beforehand?
Hey guys, I want to stay at Radisson Suites Bangkok. Can I use my pts to pay for 2 nights and then pay ahead of time to be assured an upgrade?

Almost certainly yes. Rarely have I not been offered the opportunity to upgrade an award stay at that hotel, usually during the reservation process.
