%30 extra gold points for 10k - 40k buying
I just got this email below:
A great way to increase your points balance is to purchase Gold PointsŪ!
As a valued Club Carlson member, we are offering you 30% extra when you purchase between 10,000 and 40,000 Gold Points between 1st October - 31st October 2014. Enjoy this exclusive offer and redeem points for your next stay even faster!
Gold Points are available for purchase in 1,000 increments for US$ 7 up to 40,000 Gold Points per account, per calendar year.
Does it really worth trying this deal and buying let's say 40k to get 12k extra points for 280 bucks?
I saw an earlier deal thread (on July 2014) for %75 extra for 40k and in total 70k points for 280 bucks. Should I wait for a deal like that? Or just stick to this deal? I was planning to buy max points (40k) just to keep it for needed days.

This is an OK deal.... but I maxed out at the 75% extra deal. Personally, unless I needed the points for an award, I would hold off.
