12k Miles. Boost your CC balance to 100k and you would get 18k Miles

True, but 100,000 gold points would also get you two nights in a central London or Paris Hotel, which would otherwise cost around 250 per night.

What would 18000 Emirates points be worth?

That was completely uncalled for. Especially considering the poster to whom you responded was correct.

Maybe the OP has a good reason for being lazy or not understanding the power of the internet / the google.

If you were to buy 18000 EK miles, it would cost $720, or approximately 465. Converting CC points to EK miles isn't too bad, if you need the miles for an upgrade.

Great. All he has to do is book a 2 night vacation to London or Paris for this to matter even the slightest.

In all seriousness, the only thing that matters is what is best for you. I've converted 300,000 CC points for AA miles to upgrade classes before. I value the AA miles much more than what I could theoretically get for the CC points. I've been to London, I'm not going back to London, so what I could save with my points is inconsequential to how I plan on using them.

However, since the OP appears to be thin-skinned, and a potential jackwad, he can do his own research. It's clearly on the website and they have a whole bunch of people working in a customer service department waiting for your call with baited breath.
