I've never stayed at either of them, but I've researched the Radisson Split for a potential summer weekend - it looks outstanding. Just looking at pictures online I definitely would give it the + over the LM. Maybe location is an issue for you?

I have been there twice with my family, and we enjoyed the place. It is possible to walk to the city centre (25 min) and there is a public bus stopping outside as well. Have not been to Le Meridien but it is far from Split (8 or 10 km). The hotel has a private beach in addition to the public one. Difference between standard rooms an deluxe is the nespresso machine and a bath tube in the deluxe. The economy rooms is actually ok. The "separate building" is attached to the lobby so no need to walk ouside. All rooms have balconies.
Happy hour in the bar 5 pm to 7 pm. The guests are a mix of russians/ germans / Scandinavians. Also some busses with Asians staying for the night.
Really nice breakfast which is included when when you stay on points.

I'm staying here in may booked two rooms on a good rate. I dont think award points are a good option I'm paying 90euro per night. I'm a cc conceirge I'm guessing they don't have a club lounge so I wonder if they offer anything else in replacement.
