London's 3i Group plc has struck a deal to acquire SR Technics Switzerland GmbH, the aircraft maintenance unit of SAir Group, in a €425 million ($425.2 million) leveraged buyout, 3i said Wednesday, Nov. 6.

I am afraid that 3i and management are only interested in lowering costs and improving overall results. The only ones that will benefit from this transaction are 3i, management and may be the former crossair people in Basel doing similar things as SR unit.
