F/C lounge
Hi there,
Just wondering if someone had any experience with lounges departing out of MIA and arriving in ZRH. What have been your experience? Does SWISS use "Club of America" in MIA? How's the arrival facility in ZRH? Any shower area? I appreciate any valuable feedback. Thanks.

The SWISS Allegra Lounge with showers (and breakfast and busieness desks) awaits you in Zurich's Terminal A (where you will arrive with SWISS, but not with AA yet). The Allegra Lounge is situated after immigration at the luggage retrieval level.

aw: The SWISS website indicates that there's also a business and first lounge available as well in Zurich (assuming you're flying in either of those classes). From the description - it sounds like it's available for transit passengers too.
No idea about departure lounges in MIA. I've booked an F ticket via US Dividend Miles for CLT-IAD-Zurich-FCO-Zurich-BOS-CLT. Should be able to give the info on lounges for that routing by the end of July.

The lounge in Miami Airport that is used by Swiss is the Admiral Club of AA. It is just ok. A lot of people inside. Only drinks and peanuts. No free Internet or showers. Newspapers of course and that s it.
Not alot of Shop to shop free in the terminal and just one Fastfood "restaurant" to eat.
Have a safe trip.

Thanks for the feedback, CLTFlyer and Airoli.
Actually I will be flying MIA-ZRH-ARN. On the return, I will overnight in ZRH and continue to MIA the following day.
Kooks, your information about the Admirals Club in MIA was supported by the SWISS agt that I spoke to. However, when I inquired AA, they said that they did not have such agreement as this is not a code-shared flight with AA. I guess I will find out when I leave from MIA.
