TAP to Lisbon

As far as I know, TAP is part of the Qualifyer program. Has anyone flown them from EWR? If so, any opinions and experiences with them would be appreciated? Are they affiliated with any U.S. airline? What are the "best" coach seats? I am flying to LIS three times in the next six months. Thanks in advance.

Some (all?) of the EWR-LIS TP flights are operated as AA codeshares, usually on a TP A340 (good) or, apparently, A310 (not so good). This even though TP is not listed as an AAdvantage partner.

Having only tried TP's Navigator class on a 340, I am unable to comment on their Y service. Their amenity bag (the bag itself, I don't remember the contents) was of much higher quality than most, and one of the few to rate a 'keep' for me...

I believe AA now code shares with TAP. But you can not receive any TAP awards in the AA program.

Sorry. I repeated what you said already. I only noticed after I posted.
