A-330 Longhauls

Am I correct in understanding that there are two configurations of the A-330 flying in/out of the USA? One has a F cabin and one has a larger C cabin, is this correct? Anyone have any insight into other differences in the aircrafts and/or service on the two versions?

I assume that you are referring to the Swissair version of the aircraft.

SR operates 7 A330 with 48 C and 182 Y class seats and no first class. As far as I know those are only used on the routes to/from BOS and EWR/JFK. The remaining 9 A330 have a 12F/42C/142Y configuration. Those all have the "new" First class.

There are no differences whatsoever except for the lack of F class. A personal TV screen is installed in every seat.
