Sabena Upgrades
Last week I was flying YUL-BRU on SN in scum class. Due to the grand prix in Montreal the flight was overbooked and some customers had to be upgraded into C. I am only AA non-elite so I did not expect to be one of the lucky ones. However they started to call some names and the first ones were some businessmen which I understand are Qualiflyer members. but later they upgraded some clowns which didn't look like FF's at all and they didn't understood what was going on. I wonder how they select pax for upgrades if they have to choose from non Qualiflyer members? Is it done randomly or according to the price of the ticket or?
